Starbucks, Seattle, Washington

"Really, Aaron?" I asked, my hand placed on my hip. "You HAD to get coffee?"
"A brother's gotta get fueled, dude! Plus, these mochas are the best!" he smiled that same awkward smile. Cheesy, dorky, but friendly. Nick laughed and we got back into the van.
We just learned the painful history behind Anastasia, and we wanted to pick up some trigger objects for our lockdown. We discovered that she loved roses, especially the black ones. So we stopped by Micheal's and picked up a replica.
"Do you think she can tell the difference?" Nick asked.
"Not sure. We'll just have to wait and see, right?"

Requiem for a Ghost Chap1
Chapter One

The Dragovich Hotel, Seattle, Washington.
The rain was constantly pouring, setting a dreary mood as Nick was driving. I was listening to music; electronica, trance etc. and Aaron was fiddling with the cameras. This was our second investigation in Seattle since Kell's Irish Pub. The rain didn't set an exciting mood, but certainly a dark one.
"Sheesh, why does it rain so much here?" Nick complained as the windsheild wipers barely took the rain from his sight.
"Because it's the Evergreen State?" Aaron said. The rain made Washington's famous evergreens look alive- but we were here for the dead.

"Here it is, the Dragovich Hotel!"
